Explorer 124 – Hastings and Bexhill

WALK description

Relatively easy with gentle slopes through mixed woodland – a nicely shaded walk on a warm summer day. Reeves Wood is ‘open access’ and you may wish to roam across the many paths and tracks.

Look out for squirrels and deer . The walk uses a public right of way to cross part of the Battle Golf Club’s course. If play is underway, golfers will appreciate your dog being under very close control. Otherwise a lead is only necessary at road crossings.

You will meet few other dog walkers or ramblers.

The walk crosses and re-crosses the quiet Battle to Netherfield road. There are four points at which your dog can access stream water. Around 1.5 hours
